Earlier today, the City of Canton was made aware of a confirmed COVID-19 case involving an individual who served patrons in the beer garden during this past weekend’s Canton Day Off celebration. The individual, who is now quarantining at home, was assisting the Canton Fire Department in serving beer for a brief period of time on Saturday evening, August 21. The City of Canton consulted with the Fillmore County Public Health Department regarding this case. Beer garden patrons are encouraged to monitor symptoms and work with their health care provider.
